Due to the public safety measures being taken to combat the spread of the COVID19 virus, the Gibbons Municipal Library will be closed until at least March 31st.

We will periodically check messages and emails in order to continue to serve you and answer any questions that you may have.

The dropbox on the exterior of the library will remain open and will be cleared periodically. Due dates will be adjusted to reflect the closure, and at this time have been reset to May 15th. All existing holds have been extended to May 31st, 2021. Unfortunately, since inter-library loan services have been suspended province-wide, we will not have the ability to place new holds.

Of course all of our electronic resources such as e-books, audiobooks, and streaming media services remain in operation. If you need to renew a library card, or wish to acquire one in order to access these services, please call us and we can make the necessary arrangements by phone.
